Methylated B Complex Ultra
One tablet a day. All eight B vitamins in active forms, including methylfolate and methyl-B12.
Choose your planYou sleep, but still wake up tired. The afternoon drags, and by the evening there is not much of you left.
Tired is not a personality trait
Your body cannot use food as energy straight away. It has to be converted first, and that conversion runs on B vitamins.
The science is simple: without B vitamins, your body cannot release the energy in your food.
One small tablet, once a day, holding all eight B vitamins: thiamine as benfotiamine, riboflavin as riboflavin-5-phosphate, niacin as niacinamide, pantothenic acid, B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, biotin, folate as L-5-MTHF, and B12 as methylcobalamin. Made in Britain. Plans from 50p a day.

Published research on the B vitamins in our formula, which we provide in their active forms.

younger memory scores
in a 3-year folate trial
FACIT, double-blind, 818 adults
memoryIn the FACIT trial, 818 adults aged 50 to 70 with raised homocysteine took 800µg of folic acid every day for 3 years and scored on memory tests like people about 4.7 years younger. Our formula provides folate (vitamin B9) too, but as L-5-MTHF (methylfolate), the active form the body can use directly without first converting it. Folate contributes to normal psychological function.

mood, over 12 months
in a double-blind vitamin trial
Benton et al., 1995, 129 adults
moodIn a double-blind trial, 129 healthy young adults took a daily supplement of nine vitamins, at ten times the recommended daily amounts, for 12 months. Those on the vitamins reported better mood than those on placebo, most clearly among the women, and the improvement tracked their rising vitamin B2 and B6 status. We include B2 and B6, with folate and B12, in their active forms: R5P, P5P, methylfolate and methylcobalamin. B6, folate and B12 contribute to normal psychological function.

better absorbed
vs standard thiamine (vitamin B1)
Xie et al., 2014, pharmacokinetic study
energyBenfotiamine is a fat-soluble derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1) that the body takes up more easily than standard thiamine hydrochloride. In a pharmacokinetic study in healthy volunteers, it raised blood (plasma) thiamine to roughly 11 times the level reached from thiamine hydrochloride (a relative bioavailability of 1147%) and roughly doubled the active coenzyme form in red blood cells. That superior absorption is why we chose it.

mental tiredness, after 33 days
in a high-dose B complex trial
Kennedy et al., 2010, double-blind, 215 men
energyIn a double-blind trial, 215 healthy working men aged 30 to 55 took a high-dose B complex (with vitamin C and minerals) every day for 33 days. Compared with placebo, they rated themselves less mentally tired after demanding mental tasks and reported more vigour. Our formula is a high-dose B complex too, with B2, B3, B5, B6, folate and B12 in their active forms. Those six B vitamins contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

lower homocysteine
in adults with the common MTHFR gene type
McNulty et al., 2006, MTHFR 677TT
methylationLots of people carry a common variation in the MTHFR gene that slows how their body handles folate. In a double-blind trial, 35 adults with this 677TT gene type took riboflavin (vitamin B2) at 1.6mg a day, or a placebo, for 12 weeks. Homocysteine fell by about 22% across the riboflavin group, and by as much as 40% in those who started with lower riboflavin levels. We include riboflavin as its active R5P form, alongside folate, B6 and B12. Folate, B6 and B12 contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism.

lower homocysteine
across 25 randomised trials
Homocysteine Lowering Trialists' Collaboration, 2005
methylationA meta-analysis pooling 25 randomised trials (2,596 people) found that folic acid lowered homocysteine by about 23% at a dose of 0.8mg a day. Our formula delivers folate (vitamin B9) as L-5-MTHF (methylfolate), the active form the body uses directly, without the conversion step folic acid needs. Folate contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.

One small tablet a day.
Clear answers. Real confidence.
We take B vitamins seriously. Our founder spent years feeling drained and let down by supplements that did not deliver, so he set out to make the best methylated B complex in Britain. Read his story.
Every batch is made in Britain, in facilities independently certified to recognised quality and food-safety standards. The health claims on this page use only EU-authorised wording, and they describe the nutrients rather than the finished product, so nothing here is overstated.
Our 4.81 rating is the whole published set, not a selection: the 4, 3, 2 and 1-star reviews are all shown too. Most were collected on our previous store and imported into Judge.me, so they are real customer words, which is why we do not badge them as verified. And the guarantee is real, not decoration: 90 days to ask for your money back on your first order, sending the bottles back at your own cost, and a subscription you can cancel any time, with the cancellation link published openly rather than buried.
It varies from person to person, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. B vitamins are water soluble, so your body works with what you take in each day rather than storing a lot up. Consistency matters far more than any single dose.
That is why we suggest giving it three months, one tablet a day, so you can judge it properly for yourself rather than after a handful of doses. Some people write to us after a couple of weeks, others take longer, and a few tell us it was not for them.
Our guarantee runs for a full 90 days from delivery, the same length as a three-month supply, and you can open the bottles and take them. So you can give it the complete run we suggest and still change your mind.
You get your money back. Contact us within 90 days of your delivery date and we will refund your first ever order, whether it was a one-time purchase or a subscription.
You can open the bottles and actually take them, then send them back, part-used is fine. Return postage is at your own cost and we will email you the address. That is the point: you cannot judge a B complex without taking it for a while, so the guarantee has to survive you opening it.
Faulty or not as described is different: we pay the postage on that, because it is your legal right. Full detail in our refund policy.
We cannot give medical advice, and we would rather say that plainly than guess. If you take prescription medication, have a health condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your GP or pharmacist before starting any supplement.
Show them the label if it helps: every ingredient and dose is listed in full on this page, so there is nothing for them to guess at either.
That is riboflavin, vitamin B2, and it is completely normal. Riboflavin is a naturally bright yellow-green pigment: its name comes from flavus, the Latin word for yellow. Ours is Riboflavin-5-Phosphate, the active form.
B vitamins are water soluble, so your body uses what it needs and passes the rest out rather than storing it. Riboflavin gives that a vivid yellow tint, usually within a few hours of taking your tablet. Doctors have a name for it, flavinuria, and it is harmless and well documented.
It is expected with any B-complex at a meaningful dose, and it is not a sign that anything is wrong. As with any supplement, if you have another symptom that concerns you, speak to your GP or pharmacist.
Take one tablet daily, ideally with a meal. Morning is a great time, as B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism throughout the day.
Take one tablet once daily.
Helps with absorption and reduces the chance of stomach upset.
For best results, use daily for at least 3 months.
Subscribe & Save delivers 3 bottles every 3 months at 40% off, which works out at 50p a day. It is covered by the same 90-day money-back guarantee on your first ever order.
You can skip, change or cancel any time from your account, with no minimum term. See exactly how to cancel, in two steps, before you buy.
Prime Vitality was created from real, lived experience. Every B vitamin is in an active, body-ready form, with B12 and folate as the methylated forms and made in Britain in GMP-certified facilities. Many brands tend to use basic, non-active forms that your body has to convert before it can use them. We start with the forms your body can use straight away.
Methylated means the vitamins are in their active forms, which are easier for your body to recognise, absorb and use. Some people carry common gene variations that affect how efficiently they make that conversion.
Cheaper supplements tend to use non-active, basic forms that cost very little to produce. Prime Vitality uses premium active forms, like benfotiamine, methylcobalamin (B12), L-5-MTHF folate and P5P (B6), which cost more but are already in the state your body can use. You are paying for forms your body can actually use.
